Abstract: Walking is the most useable transport mood through all over the world as well as Rajshahi. Maximum people use this mood to go a short distance and sometimes to cover the long distances. For the increasing number of population, it is very urgent to assess and provide proper facilities while they walk. In this research, several methods have been followed to assess pedestrian behavior and the service quality that is provided to facilitate pedestrian. For these three different study areas have been chosen according to commercial, mixed use and residential area. About 98 samples have been taken on the basis of the purposive sampling technique. Both qualitative and quantitative data are considered for this purpose. Quantitative data includes determination of effective walkway width, calculation of average pedestrian space and volume by capacity ratio. Questionnaire survey method has been followed to collect qualitative data. In this case, variables are considered according to the good pedestrian facilities by following literature review. After that, ratio method is used to give relative rankings and weights to the qualitative and quantitative variables. Collected data are analyzed separately for assessing the pedestrian level of service and pedestrian behavior using Microsoft excel. This research revealed that the highest pedestrian flow was in the commercial area. Maximum respondents have been given emphasizes on rehabilitation of illegal establishment, construct the footpath infrastructures and restriction on footpath parking in the commercial and mixed used areas. Recommendations for improving the existing situation have been discussed on the basis of pedestrian given priority.

Abstract: This paper examines the post concession performance of Onne seaport Nigeria. It obtained time series data covering a period of ten years on the performance indicators of Cargo throughput, Berth Occupancy rate and ship traffic volume of Onne seaport from the Nigerian ports Authority. The Secondary Data were collected from the Nigerian Ports Authority statistical reports for the period 2006-2015 of each performance indicator as basis for measuring sustainability and improving seaport performance. The moving average method of forecasting and trend analysis was used to analyze the collected data. It was found that there exist inconsistency in the post concession performance trend of the port and that seaport performance over the years covered in the study has not been sustained to remain high. The study recommended the development of performance benchmarks for each performance indicator as targets which port authorities and terminal operators must seek to achieve and /or exceed.

Abstract: According to the significance of express service, which has an impact on the high quality development of China's express delivery industry, this paper based on the quality of express delivery service problems to analyze the affecting factors and try to find out the best solution. Firstly, Based on expatiating The Service Quality (SERVQUAL) and LSQ evaluation system, an index system with five dimensions and 14 indicators indexes is designed. Then fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is used to determine the weight of each index and establish an evaluation model that the service quality can be fuzzily evaluated. The results show that consumers are not satisfied with the quality of current express service. With this finding, some relevant countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve service quality and enhance the competitiveness of express companies.
